Product Warranty and Return Procedures

This is our standard policy for returning product to PCM UK or one of our partners

The following categories of returns covered by this policy are:

  • Non-faulty goods
  • Faulty goods & manufacturer warranty

General Conditions for Returns

  • All RMA requests must be made via the contact form on the website.
  • Product can only be returned once a valid return merchandise authorisation (RMA) number has been issued.
  • RMA numbers are valid for 5 days from date of issue, good must therefore be returned within this timeframe
  • Only products purchased from PCM UK will be accepted for return.

Reasons for Returns:

DOA (Dead on arrival) & Defective Products

  • The DOA conditions for any product reflect those of the manufacturer
  • In some instances, the manufacturer’s warranty conditions may specify a third party address to which DOA items must be returned. In this case goods must be sent to the specified address.

Incorrect Deliveries

Customer Services must be notified of any incorrect deliveries within 5 working days from date of receipt of goods. Only products in their original condition with unopened packaging will be accepted for return.

Damaged Goods

If your shipment arrives damaged then the goods must be refused if you notice any visible damage to the box/packaging. If the shipment is accepted then the detail of any damage must be recorded with the carrier in accordance with the carrier policy. Save the merchandise in the original box and packing it arrived in, and notify us immediately to arrange for a carrier inspection and pick up of damaged merchandise. Concealed damage on a shipment must be reported within 7 days

Incorrect Customer Order

PCM UK reserve the right to refuse to issue an RMA number for the return of goods where the customer has made an error in ordering. Only goods in sealed, undamaged original packaging with manufacturer seal intact and within the stated warranty period may be returned. PCMUK reserves the right to charge a re-stocking fee of at least 15% of the product value.

Returns Process

Non-Faulty Goods

PCM offer a 14 day from date of invoice policy on non-faulty products received. To request a returns authorisation number you must complete the necessary form on the website should the reason for return be through no fault of PCM then the cost of carriage to return same will be at your expense. Please do not open or mark the packaging, as non-faulty goods will only be accepted for return in pristine and re-saleable condition. Once you have received the returns authorisation number return the product(s) to the address specified within seven days. Should a product be returned without a returns authorisation number or if an invalid number is used then the goods will be returned to you at your expense. Products purchased on a non-cancellable/non-returnable basis will not be accepted for return.

Faulty Goods – To include DOA and defective products

Contact us at UKCustomerService@pcm.com within 14 days following invoice date, who will then contact the relevant service centre to obtain a returns authorisation number. Products will be returned to base for repair by the relevant vendor (unless covered by an on-site warranty) In order to process a request to return faulty goods, we will require the model number, serial number and invoice number, please have this information to hand prior to reporting. All faulty goods are subject to the product warranty provided by the manufacturer. Once you have received the returns authorisation number return the product(s) to the address specified within seven days. Should a product be returned without a returns authorisation number or if an invalid number is used then the goods will be returned to you at your expense.
